A striking late 1970s Brutalist-style coffee table, beautifully constructed in warm-toned teak with a protective glass top.
The table has a wonderfully architectural quality, with its substantial square top appearing to float above the recessed central base. This simple but highly effective design creates a strong geometric silhouette, reflecting the structural and minimalist aesthetic found in high-end furniture of the 1970s.
The combination of rich teak and clear glass works particularly well, allowing the sculptural form of the base to remain the focus. At 70cm square and just 39cm high, it has a low, balanced profile that would sit beautifully alongside low-slung mid-century, modular or contemporary seating.
