A lovely example of a Victorian armchair on wooden splayed legs and original castors.
Structurally solid. Probably professionally upholstered in the 1980s but still well sprung and very comfortable, the hessian base cover is still in tact and in good condition. the armchair is good as it is but further reupholstery would really bring out its true charm.
There is an old label to one of the legs that reads ‘Belfast’.
