A beautifully crafted British mid-century teak sideboard, attributed to Bath Cabinet Makers and dating from the 1960s. Although unlabelled by the maker, it retains its original Hopewells department store label inside one of the cupboard doors. Bath Cabinet Makers were renowned for producing exceptionally well-crafted furniture, combining clean, timeless lines with superb quality.
Offering generous storage, the sideboard features two spacious cupboards with adjustable internal shelving and three smoothly running central drawers. The back is fully finished, allowing it to be used as a freestanding room divider as well as against a wall.
Presented in original vintage condition, the teak has been carefully cleaned and is beautifully preserved. There are only light, age-related signs of use, including minor surface wear to the top, consistent with over 60 years of careful ownership. Please study the photographs as they form part of the description, and feel free to get in touch with any questions.
