Mid Century Vintage Chest Of Drawers G Plan SOLD
A stunning piece of Mid Century furniture – a three drawer chest from G Plan. The chest was introduced in September 1956 from after the Brandon range of 1953.
The cabinet consists of three hand crafted drawers with each one having superb dove tail jointing and offering great storage.
The chest comes from the Chinese White G Plan range.
The cabinet is made of light oak with the top drawer lacquered in Chinese White.
The bottom two drawers have solid oak handles with the top one having circular brass pull handles.
Within the top drawer there are two dividers that form three separate storage compartments with the gold embossed logo of E Gomme and G Plan stamp in the centre.
The chest is a wonderful piece of early G Plan with a fabulous colour.
And great to find a more unusual piece of early G Plan furniture that would suit any home or environment.
