Vintage Mid Century Plan Chest Six Drawer Architectural SOLD
This is a beautiful vintage oak plan chest with 6 drawers. It has immense character and style with appealing handles and original label holders. A classic piece for any working artist or collector also extremely useable and stylish piece of home or studio furniture probably from the early 1950s could be earlier as this design was in use for a long time.
For me the rubberised black top is more appealing as a studio useable piece as opposed to a wood top. I’d imagine this was also more desirable to an artist or a person who will be using this daily. For that I also prefer the look of the utilitarian top but each to his own.
The Chest splits into two units comprising of three drawers each.
Solid Oak construction.

In good vintage condition. There is some age-related wear, including in particular some wear on the top, but nothing too serious. Happy to answer any questions.
