In a crowded vintage furniture market, often more like the Wild West for customers, we want to provide you with a trusted friendly safe service offering original timeless, affordable and sustainably responsible furniture. Genuine furniture that’s authentic and as it should be. A place you can search to identify pieces or find inspiration from. Check out our archive section for this.
We source original mid century furniture from around the UK buying from private sellers, other dealers, shops, auctions and markets. We ensure customers receive their furniture as we would expect, if we were purchasing something to go straight into our home.
We aim to remove the issues and pitfalls that can arise from buying furniture on the open market, furniture that has already had a long life and can often have issues not identified or is simply in need of a good clean you’d be surprised.
We prefer originality, meaning we try to retain patina and colour where possible whilst ensuring the furniture is clean and free from damage. Each piece is assessed and described with this in mind and dictates the restoration.
We don’t up cycle. We are all about the history, feel and a genuine enduring love of the period and have no interest in volume and churning things out.
Stock is constantly changing so it is well worth checking back for new items frequently or keeping an eye on our Instagram page @pavement_vintage Our instagram page is a personal thing but you can purchase from this platform however we have avoided making the page explicitly a shop. Feel free to contact via the page at anytime.
We can provide a nationwide courier service and free local delivery. You can arrange by appointment to view specific furniture although browsing is not so simple though we will try our best to offer this at our workshop:
