1950s Mid Century Vintage Sideboard by ‘Vesper’ SOLD
A beautifully styled 1950’s sideboard manufactured by Gimson & Slater ‘Vesper’ furniture brand.
A distinctive British 1950’s styling and craftsmanship, finished in a rich walnut with contrasting beech legs, trim and strikingly unusual handles.
The cupboards open to reveal the contrasting sycamore lined interior with a single fixed shelf in each. The three drawers are all constructed from solid sycamore frames – the top drawer divided for cutlery; retains its original green felt lining.
The overhanging top has a curved front edge with a bevelled edge.
In fantastic vintage, restored condition. But as of all vintage furniture of this age there will be signs of previous use, especially in the green felt lined drawer. Obviously doesn’t effect use but I have to mention it. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
