A stunning Danish large executive free-standing office desk, designed by the renowned Arne Vodder and manufactured by Sibast Furniture, circa 1960s.

This desk is a fine piece of original, top quality furniture design from one of the most sort after designers of the era, and a real statement piece for any office space. The desk is finished throughout in vibrant Rosewood, with contrasting metal drawer pulls and exposed metal fixings to the sides.

This twin pedestal desk features 5 opening drawers, the largest drawer being a filing cabinet to the left hand pedestal, 4 graduating drawers on the right hand pedestal. All drawers can be locked together from inside the kneehole, however a key is not present. The piece sits upon exposed side supports, with double stretcher detail.

The Sibast manufacturers label can also be found to the inside of the top right hand drawer.

In good unrestored vintage condition. With the only signs of age being to the writing surface in the form of numerous small scratches to the original lacquer finish. The desk is totally original to how it was when new, having never been restored and well looked after in its previous life. Key are available for both locks.
