A classsic mid century sideboard created by Tom Robertson and manufactured by A.H. McIntosh, circa 1960s. The enhanced the beauty of the sideboard adding the marquetry design of a sunburst to the cupboard’s doors is what it makes this an awesome piece of furniture. The sideboard is beautifully handcrafted with a vibrant teak.
A much sought after, classic piece of Scottish mid century furniture features extensive storage with three drawers set in its centre, the top drawer lined in felt and with cutlery dividers in place. To the left is a shelved cupboard with drop-down door front and to the right is a shelved drinks cabinet. Hidden beneath the top of the sideboard is a little formica topped slide-out tray. Handy for for mixing cocktails!
In good vintage condition, minor signs of previous use as to be expected for a piece of furniture manufactured in the 1960s. Please note the ink stain on the bottom of one of the drawers and a small hole has been cut in the back of the board by previous owners for wires (presumedly). Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
