A sunning strong linear sideboard that defines the stylish furniture produced by British furniture maker White & Newton of Portsmouth circa 1960s. White & Newton were the cutting edge of furniture design through out the 20th century in Britain. This fantastic linear teak sideboard designed by Philip Hussey for White & Newton of Portsmouth, circa 1967.

A beautifully simplistic teak sideboard. Featuring minimalistic clean lines with hidden handles, raised on sleigh legs.  A stunning design, way ahead of its time.

Two deep pull drawers (top drawer still with original black lining), a pull down ‘drinks’ cupboard and one large shelved cupboard to the right providing plenty of storage!

The simple clean lines and recessed handles produce a very understated and sleek design – still very relevant in modern interiors.

A very desirable piece, in excellent unrestored condition. There are some minor marks, sun staining etc as to be expected, please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
