The legs are made out of solid teak have a beautiful modernist design / style. This is a beautiful piece and would look great either as a desk or as a dressing table.
Gunther Hoffstead was an accomplished Danish born designer and nothing is known about him apart from his stylish designs for the small forward looking firm that used the brand name of Uniflex in the late 1950s to mid 1960s.
The Q Range of bedroom furniture appears to date to 1965 . This one is in good vintage condition, but there will be a few marks and signs of use after some 50 years.
In good vintage condition. Wear and tear marks as to be expected from a piece of this age. We haven’t stripped this down completely and just given it a gentle clean. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
