This is a unrestored 1960s teak and afromosia writing desk / bureau designed by Richard Hornby for Heals comes to you in great vintage original condition.

The sloped front housing a fitted interior over three long reeded drawers, to a curved tapering supports. The lockable front drop-down menu (original key not present) contains several drawers and compartments.

This type of bureau / desk is getting highly sought after. Heals commissioned Richard Hornby, a well known British designer of his era to create a range with timeless sense of design.

This bureau / writing desk is in great vintage condition, with normal signs of age and use. One historical repair noticed on one front leg – we have reviewed his and it is secure and the bureau is not affected. Please see photos – happy to answer any questions.
