1960’s Set of 6 Danish Teak Dining Chairs by Norgaards & Danish Dining Table SOLD
A stunning set of 6 vintage Danish teak dining chairs, made by Norgaards Mobelfabrik in the 1960’s with a Danish extending (insert-leaf) table.
The set was purchased from the original owner who bought from new in the 1960s. It is in good, unrestored original condition. The makers stamp is seen below all the seats.
The table easily seats 6 but more seats could be accommodated if required. Extending leaves could be stored and table used ‘closed’ for every day use. The legs of the table are separately removable with bolts enabling it to be easily positioned in house / stored or transported.
The chair frames are all clean, very sturdy and sound, with only minor wear and one historical repair.
The black vinyl seats are also in great condition, only one seat has a very small split in the vinyl (see picture) it’s only superficial and is barely noticeable.
Although the set is unrestored it has charming patina; care worn but not offensively damaged. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
