Bernhard Pedersen designed this outstanding teak sideboard in Denmark during the 1960s. Constructed of a rich Danish teak, the raised case features two wide opening doors alongside 4 drawers, all with beautiful detailing to the finger pull handles.
A gorgeous Danish mid century sideboard, this piece comes with a gorgeous little slide out tray upon which cutlery can be separately stored in a drawer.
Bernhard Pedersen & Son is a family owned furniture maker, still trading today, with a strong tradition in high quality cabinetmaking since the company’s start in 1902. The 1950s and 1960s were characterised by some of the most stunning and well-executed pieces in Bernhard Pedersen & Son’s history. During this period, and still to this day, the classic mid-century dining tables and sideboards designed by Danish furniture designers, including the world-renowned architect Johannes Andersen, were highly valued by BPS customers throughout the world.
In good vintage condition. Small signs or wear through age and general use, but nothing significant to note. There has been a historical repair done to the leg which is now solid. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
