1960s Vintage MEREDEW Tallboy / Chest of Drawers SOLD
This beautiful tallboy by British manufactures Meredew, comprises of 6 drawers of equal depth (13cm internal depth) with classic semi-circular metal pull handles. It stands on a really stylish splayed angled leg frame typical of the mid century period. Typically in black but this natural wood tone is quite rare.
Circa 1960’s.
D Meredew Ltd was a little known British furniture maker were a medium sized manufacturer in the 1960s and 1970s, specialising in bedroom furniture.
Well made with nice proportions.
