A sunning strong linear sideboard that defines the stylish furniture produced by British furniture maker White and Newton of Portsmouth circa 1960s. White and Newton were the cutting edge of furniture design through out the 20th century in Britain.
A beautifully simplistic teak sideboard. Featuring minimalistic clean lines with hidden handles and a curved lip to the top of the sideboard. Decorated on the back so could be used as a room divider. A stunning design, way ahead of its time.
One drop down cupboard to the left and one very large shelved cupboard to the right providing plenty of storage!
A very desirable piece, in good vintage condition. There are some minor marks due to general wear and tear, a piece of black vinyl has been used on the drop down cupboard door to match in with the original vinyl for the cutlery drawer. Please note the mark on the top of the sideboard, we have left this without restoration but this can be done if wanted – additional restoration coasts will apply. Holes have been cut out by the previous owners to accommodate wires and leads. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
