This chest of three drawers was designed by Nils Jonsson for Torring Möbelfabrik in Denmark in the 1970s. It is made from teak and teak veneer and features three drawers. The minimalistic and straight forward design combined with high quality Danish craftsmanship.
In very good unrestored vintage condition this item remains in a fantastic condition with only slightest patina. Stamped on the back with the manufacturers name. The drawers run well. Minor signs of previous use as to be expected. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.

Creating mostly secretaries, sideboard and cabinets Nils Jonsson’s contribution to Scandinavian Modern Design has not been lost throughout the decades, due to the fastidious labeling of his products which allow for easy identification and the healthy appetite of vintage lovers for Jonsson’s sleek, high-quality designs. During the 1950s, Jonsson’s designs were produced by Tørring Møbelfabrik in Denmark. In the 1960s, Jonsson’s most productive period, his designs were produced by the Swedish company Troeds Bjärnum. Established in 1934 by Svea and Hugo Troedsson, Troeds produced pieces in typical Scandinavian modern style.
