1970s Vintage G PLAN Teak ‘Fresco’ Sideboard SOLD
This is a classic vintage G Plan Fresco sideboard dating from the 1970s.
G Plan was a modern furniture company that rode on the Scandinavian furniture wave from the 1960s.
The cabinet was made out of exotic timers, mostly Burmese teak, by the renowned E Gomme / G Plan factory and designed by V.B. Wilkins in 1966.
3 Cupboards, hidden hinges and an internal adjustable shelf that is removable. They offer good size cupboards with a lot of storage space.
4 drawers that run smoothly, one which is felt lined, with cutlery dividers and they are all solid construction with dovetail joints front and back.
Solid sculptural handles, the framed doors and the vertical grain fronts.
This vintage sideboard has no significant defects, but it may show slight traces of previous use. Please see photos – happy to answer any questions.
