Vintage Walnut Long Modernist Style Sideboard SOLD
A really stunning yet unusual Modernist style walnut sideboard. Well manufactured and crafted possibly in the late 1930s / early 1940s with stunning attention to detail as evidenced by the dove tailed drawers.
Sliding cupboard doors with internal hard wood removable shelves, ball bearings on the slide mechanism.
4 pull drawers with sculpted wooden handles, standing on splayed raised legs.
In fantastic condition. Solid wood with no veneer – there are a few historical cracks in the sliding panels due to age and the lack of veneer but this doesn’t effect the working and I think just adds to the character of the piece. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
