Mid Century JENTIQUE Bureau Desk Drawers Vintage SOLD
British made quality bureau / cabinet designed & manufactured by Jentique Furniture c1960’s. The lockable cabinet has a pull down front which opens to expose a fitted interior with two drawers. Original key still with the cabinet.
The cabinet has a full width shelve underneath, a further cupboard and three drawers. Would fit into a standard alcove with adjustable feet. Classic dovetails, great Jentique Furniture quality. Perfect storage great height to work at would easily fit a ‘modern’ laptop in either the dropdown or the shelf underneath. The single side cupboard even fits vinyl!
Mix of solid teak and teak veneers with solid teak, organic shaped handles and legs.
Would make a great addition to any vintage / mid-century inspired interior.
The interior is in clean condition.
This vintage bureau is sturdy in structure with no loose joints, and is free from any woodworm or significant damage. In very good vintage condition. The unit has been cleaned but is in its original unrestored condition. Overall condition for its age is very good, there are of course the usual minor age related scratches and marks.
