Retro Papworth Industry / Ex Mod Teak Dressing Table / Desk 1970s  SOLD

A retro dressing table / desk made by Papworth Industry for the Ministry of Defence for use in military accommodation in the 1970’s. With original adjustable mirror which can obviously be removed. Arrow stamp on the back 1974.

This dressing table / desk is made of teak with metal handles and the top with a white leaf patterned formica top. Two small drawers over three long ones.

Very well made and sturdy, these ministry of defence pieces were made to withstand being well used.

Great looking and very practical retro piece.

It is good used vintage condition with only minimal signs of its previous life all shown in images. All the drawers run smoothly. Unfortunately no key. Please review the photos – happy to answer an questions.
