Vintage 1960s G Plan Teak Quadrille ‘Tallboy’ Chest of Drawers SOLD
This beautifully designed and crafted, ‘tallboy’ chest of drawers has 6 drawers with solid teak handles and the classic Quadrille leg. Designed by R. Bennet for G Plan’s Quadrille Range created in 1965.
With its understated elegance and clean lines, the Quadrille range of furniture, created in 1965, was an instant success, with its Scandinavian-influenced shaped ‘sled’ legs and handles.
A very cool looking mid century piece and would make a great addition to any vintage, mid-century inspired / modern interior.
In good vintage condition throughout and with a clear teak wood grain and G Plan Gold Stamp in the second drawer. Minor mark from general wear and tear, sun-fade consistent with age and use. Please note the mark on the top lip of the drawers, doesn’t effect look or use but have to mention it. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
