Mid Century Danish Teak Gunni Omann for Axel Christiansen Sideboard SOLD
This stunning Danish sideboard was designed in 1960 by Gunni Omann Jr for quality Danish furniture maker Axel Christiansen Odder (ACO Mobler).
The many refined details show the quality known so well associated with Danish furniture in the 1960s – the detail to the top of the legs, the sculpted handles, the gently curved edge to the top.
This beautiful teak sideboard has 3 cupboards with sliding doors and height adjustable shelves along with four green baize lined drawers. A very stunning piece of classic danish design, a great investment piece.
Overall, in excellent vintage condition. The top has some minor inconsistencies in the finish and light marks / faint rings but not obvious. There are some minor marks as to be expected for its age but nothing to detract from its overall appeal.
