An impressive large early 20th-century oak table. Constructed from solid pine planks.
The is top fitted with a leather cloth inset and raised on heavy squared legs. England, circa 1920.
The top unscrews to remove from the frame for ease of movement.
When we acquired this table a few years ago the previous owner informed us that this table originally came out of the Bodleian Library, Oxford. No evidence to support this however. Complete with original graffiti! Can easily sit 10 people (pictures as shown).
In good original vintage unrestored condition. The table frame and top are sturdy but obvious signs of wear, graffiti, signs of previous use as to be expected! Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
