This Svane daybed or two seater sofa and matching armchair was designed by Ingmar Relling for Ekornes in the 1960s. The daybed has a sleeping function while unfolded. A functional retracting side table opens leaving space for small objects or niknaks. The bed also opens upwards and there is a slim compartment for bed linen or blankets.

The matching armchair is a rare nice addition to the original set.

The sofa mattress and armchair have been reupholstered in a Caramel Boucle Mohair Wool and the pillows in a Mink Boucle Mohair Wool for contrast. We have kept the original cotton material for the underside of the cushion and the linen compartment. In excellent restored condition, the bed functions well and the wood has been cleaned and revived. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
