First introduced in the 1950s, the P40 is celebrated as one of the most innovative and sculptural lounge chair designs of the mid-century period, prized for its striking profile and adjustable reclining functionality.
This exceptional example retains its original vibrant upholstery fabric and original Tecno badges, while benefiting from a careful restoration including new internal foam and webbing, ensuring superb comfort and everyday usability without compromising its authentic vintage character.
The bold original orange upholstery is beautifully contrasted by the elegant black armrests and architectural metal base, making this an eye-catching statement piece for any interior. The reclining mechanism allows multiple seating positions, showcasing Borsani’s signature combination of engineering and refined Italian design.
In good vintage condition overall. Newly restored with new foam and internal support, while preserving the original upholstery fabric and original Tecno badges.
