Mid Century Vintage TURNIDGE Cocktail Drinks Cabinet Bar ‘Man Cave’ Retro SOLD
A lovely mid century cocktail cabinet by British manufacturers Turnidge of London Limited circa 1960s.
Top cabinet is back mirrored and opens forward and up. The internal light is fully operational and comes on when the cabinet is opened but would require further testing by a qualified electrician for safety as a vintage light.
Lower double cupboard has a key lock as well as an internal bolt to secure one side of the cupboard. Would hold up to 6 bottles and has a fixed internal half shelf. In very good vintage condition; sturdy on raised quadrille legs. Slight blemish on the bottom corner of the mirror but it is not cracked / chipped. Turnidge of London was a niche British maker in the 1960s and 1970s not making the obvious dining room or bedroom furniture. Instead they seem to have carved out a niche making Bars, display cabinets and bookcases.
