Mid Century 1960s Alfred Cox Bank of 6 Drawers SOLD
A deceptive, seemingly very rare bank of 1960s Alfred Cox graduating drawers. Stunning craftsmanship as to be expected for Alfred Cox. The top three ‘drawers’ are actually a lift up cupboard.
A great classic example of mid century styling which would not look out of place in any interior today.
Structurally sound, all drawers run smooth. Minimal wear and tear marks as to be expected with a bank of drawers of this age and nothing excessive. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
A fantastic and high quality piece from top end mid century designers and British manufacturers Alfred Cox (Furniture) Ltd. Likely to have been originally retailed through Heals of London. This original 1960s piece (label on inner drawer) is a real stand out piece of quality design and functionality.
