Vintage Mid Century 1960s / 1970s Vanson Bureau / Storage / Desk / Workstation  SOLD

This Mid Century bureau is made by British manufacturer Vanson. Vanson was one of the top brands producing furniture for Heal’s in the 1960s / 1970s.

The bureau has a drop down door which can be used as a desk which reveals an inside office space. The bureau has two drawers underneath and is incredibly well made. Stylish recessed handles and legs. The sloped front and slightly splayed legs gives this piece an added style dimension. The ‘brass’ pull handle has been previously added because I think the original lock has broken – could require further investigation should you so wish.

The bureau oozes 1960s style and would be ideal storage / desk in a vintage / retro or modern home.

In good vintage unrestored condition. General marks consistent with wear and tear as to be expected for a well loved piece of furniture of this age. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
