A pair of British mid century elm and beech lounge chairs by Scandart, High Wycombe. Manufactured circa 1967 these chairs are in elm and beech wood.

A pair of these lounge chairs are getting highly sort after and is very rare to find a pair in this excellent condition. Scandart were a mid century English company based in High Wycombe making high quality furniture based on Scandinavian designs – hence the name!

Both chairs have been gently sanded back to the original wood grain and given a light danish oil so you can see the lovely grain detail of the wood. Professionally reupholstered in Abbotsford Textiles Melton Spruce 100% wool and new foam. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
