Danish Mid Century Sideboard by Johannes Andersen SOLD
Teak sideboard by Johannes Andersen for Silkeborg Mobelfabrik circa 1960’s.
Featuring 2 easy sliding doors on the ends and a bank of 4, solid wood, dove tailed drawers in the middle. The drawers each have a wonderful, large inset handles and the drawer fronts are solid teak. The fully finished interior has 2 adjustable and removable interior shelves. The legs are also removable for moving.
This was purchased from the original owners who had it since the 1960’s.
This piece has had a light touch refurbishment on the top of the sideboard and is offered in good vintage condition with no obvious marks / sun / water damage. All drawers and doors open and close smoothly. The previous owner had holes cut out of the back for wires. Please note the small dent in the top corner of the leading edge – not significant but i have to mention it. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
