A vintage Danish desk designed by Gunnar Nielsen and manufactured by Tibergaard in the 1960s. Features four drawers on the front with solid teak pulls, and a large bookcase section on the rear.
This floating top design is typical of Tibergaard desks. The top two drawers are lockable and we have keys that work. Stamped on the underside with makers mark.
The desk is a free-standing piece of Scandinavian MCM furniture that measures W129cm in length, H73cm in height and D66.5cm in width. The desk is a licensed original made in Denmark in the year 1960 and is perfect for anyone who loves Danish-themed furniture. With its timeless design and features, this desk is the perfect addition to any modern or classic workspace.
In good vintage cleaned but unrestored condition. There are signs of previous use and historical repair. There is a historical repair by the left side drawers, a small chip in the veneer on the top of the desk which we have filled and sanded smooth. We have checked all of the historical repairs and they are secure and nothing to detract from the uses and look of the desk. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
The accompanying chair Robin Day Q Stak is also available with the desk – please enquire if interested.
