E Gomme G Plan Triangular Coffee Table with Smoked Glass Top SOLD
This very good quality G Plan coffee table is a very stylish and a collectible piece – I have never come across one before and it’s a brand of the highly regarded E Gomme furniture manufacturer.
Classic G Plan curves and smoked glass, it is very well constructed and made from solid teak, and the frame of the table is teak veneered to achieve a more prominent pattern of grain around the 10mm thick removable smoked glass top.
The turned legs terminate in brass feet and are intersected with a prominent magazine rack / shelf.
E Gomme LTD was established in 1898 in High Wycombe, and thanks to the launch of the G Plan brand in 1954 it went on to become one of the UK’s largest and most popular furniture manufacturers.
In great vintage condition with minimal scratching to the glass top.
