The very iconic Pieff ‘Alpha’ lounge suite comprising of a three seater sofa, two armchairs and a swivel chair designed by Tim Bates. An excellent and recognised piece of British design history.
The set has been upholstered in chestnut brown leather with no rips or tears, and has a very solid tubular metal frame, all supported on a metal swivel base. The chrome is in good condition and free from and rust, so are the supports.
Retailed by Harrods and Heals, their products personify British mid-century design. Quite possibly the most comfortable suit I have ever sat in!
The brown leather upholstery has been cleaned and the chrome plated tubular metal frame has been gently cleaned. We’ve retained the famous Pirelli webbing system support on these fabulous chairs. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
Ideally sold as a set. They have been together in the same house since new.
