The stand consists of four bays (5 ladders) with 12 teak shelves, one drop down cupboard and one bureau cupboard. The Ladderax System consists of upright ladders, supporting shelves and cabinets. These are fixed by resting on steel support rods hooked onto the rungs of the ladders. They fit into grooves under the shelves / cabinets. This allows easily assembly and flexibility. Ladderax does not require any permanent fitting to a wall.
Ladderax is a modular shelving system that can be built according to your needs and space. It was produced by Staples & Co Ltd. in London, Cricklewood from 1964 to 1987 and designed by Robert Heal.
The shelving was manufactured by Ladderax and the condition is in good vintage condition with only normal wear marks commensurate for age.
The ladders have adjustable feet at the front.
