A stylish and practical corner dressing table and chair made by Greaves & Thomas, it dates from the 1950’s. This has a great design, practical for modern interiors. Greaves & Thomas furniture was characterized by the clean lines and excellent workmanship. This stunning dresser has three adjustable mirrors. There are hidden storage compartments behind the centre mirror.

A cute little dressing table chair with a curved back designed and also made by Greaves & Thomas was bought as new with the dressing table.

Greaves & Thomas were a London based furniture maker based in Hackney, East London from 1911 till 1965. They were incorporated into Schreiber furniture in 1967. Their furniture from the 1960s mirrored the style modernist Danish designers, using clean geometries, tapered furniture legs and wonderful timber.

It’s in unrestored vintage condition. There is some age related wear and tear commensurate with its age and past use. The matching dressing table chair has been reupholstered using new foam and 100% Abraham Moon wool fabric. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
