This fabulous sideboard was designed by Robert Heritage who was one of the top British furniture designers of the mid-20th century and manufactured by Archie Shine, retailed by Heals of London.
This mid century teak ‘Hamilton’ sideboard was manufactured in the 1950s, the elegant Danish style design has a long rectangular top over four reeded drawers and two cupboards with removable shelves, the piece is raised on four narrow tapered legs. The first two drawers have factory / department store fitted cutlery liners which can be removed if required but we have left them in for the new owner to decide.
This beautiful long teak ‘Hamilton’ model sideboard, an award winning design for Archie Shine in 1958 features reeded drawers, veneered doors and turned brass pulls. A real standout piece of mid century furniture that would seamlessly fit into any modern of vintage inspired interior, this stunning piece with ample storage is sure to become the focal point of any room.
In fantastic vintage condition. One owner since new. We have carefully cleaned and re-polished this sideboard to preserve its natural original appearance. That being said, there are still some age related marks and wear but nothing that detracts from the overall look and functionality of the piece.
