A beautifully designed sideboard by celebrated British furniture designer Robert Heritage, who is the most awarded designer in the history of the British Design Council. This seemingly rare early model is constructed from a combination of teak and afromosia, with two banks of three thick dovetailed oak lined drawers, either side of a double door cupboard.
Exceptional quality with grained timbers this stunning piece of mid century design can be admired from all angles and sides as decorated on the back. The double door cupboard has an internal shelf and no obvious hinges and a discrete push door opening. The top lefthand drawer is lined with original black vinyl.
Dating from 1960s this is a rare piece of mid century design. These design classics are getting harder to source and are becoming highly collectable.
In good vintage unrestored condition. Signs of previous use as to be expected some pieces of veneer missing from the left hand edge, but for a piece of this age but nothing other of any significant to note. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
