Mid Century Sideboard by E.W. Bach for Sejling Skabe Denmark, 1960s SOLD
Seemingly rare mid century teak sideboard, designed by E.W. Bach and produced by Sejling Skabe of Kolind, Denmark circa 1960s.
A really good example of mid century Danish craftsmanship which has been regarded worldwide.
Two large sliding doors hiding ample storage space with adjustable and/or removable shelves.
Striking scalloped handles. Unique styled legs with original internal tightening bolts.
The minimal modernist design and the warm tones of the teak combined with classic features enable it to blend seamlessly with any modern or vintage inspired interior.
This piece is in superb original unrestored condition with only very minor signs of use and age. All drawers/doors run very well. Previous historic damage can be seen on the legs but these are structurally solid now. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
Overall this piece is an absolutely beautiful example of the mid century Danish design.
