A scarcely seen mid century sideboard designed by Richard Hornby, manufactured by Fyne Ladye Furniture and originally retailed through Heals, 1960s.

As usual, to be expected from Hornby, superb craftsmanship throughout, carved from solid from Afromosia with beautiful cut away handle detail, reeded drawer fronts and the signature Hornby bevelled edge to the top. The drawer fronts are super thick and reeded, a design feature of Hornby sideboards. The three shelves are adjustable / removable if you need to store larger items.

It features two large cupboards with solid Afromosia adjustable shelves with four good sized, graduating drawers to the right hand side. The top drawer still retains the original black felted cutlery dividers. The ‘hidden’ tray which has a cream / black formica lining and can be removed completely from the sideboard.

This beautiful sideboard was designed by Richard Hornby for Fyne Ladye Furniture in the 1960s. Crafted from high-quality teak and featuring a mid-century modern style, this piece is a stunning addition to any home.

In good unrestored vintage condition. We have cleaned this sideboard but it will still show minor signs of wear through age and general use to the top. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
