A 1960s large teak sideboard with rosewood handles and afromosia (teak) trim and legs. Designed by the Danish designer Ib Kofod Larsen for G Plan’s ‘Danish Range’.
Lots of storage potential in a stunning minimalist credenza by an iconic 20th-century designer.
This long sideboard has five wide drawers next to two large cupboards with adjustable shelves. The top drawer is lined with grey baize and has wood dividers for cutlery storage.
The beautifully simple design is finished in teak with fine square rosewood handles.
The G-Plan Danish Design range was created for E Gomme in 1962 by Ib Kofod Larsen. It was a premium flagship range of furniture that was produced in relatively small numbers and with the highest quality construction. Combined with an elegant simplicity and beautifully proportioned design, this has led to these pieces becoming some of the most desirable and sought after mid-century furniture for the modern home.
