Mid Century Vintage Chest of 4 Drawers / Tallboy by UNIFLEX SOLD
Uniflex was produced by the firm L Lazarus in the 1950’s & 1960’s.
It pioneered the modern style and helped bring it to a wider audience.
In good vintage condition. Some marks, scratches consistent with usual wear and tear (see photos).
Designed by Peter Hayward in 1959 this chest of drawers is veneered in walnut with a top drawer finished in inlaid marquetry.
Refinished apart from the top drawer.
It stands on turned, splayed legs with brass feet.
4 graduating drawers with internal teak dividers on the top drawer.
