A 5 drawer, mid century teak chest by the British manufacturers White & Newton from the Lyndhurst range of furniture.
This vintage chest of five drawers from White & Newton is a beautiful addition to any bedroom. The medium wood tone and teak material exude warmth and elegance, while the rectangular shape and free-standing mounting make it a versatile piece of furniture. No tools are required for assembly, and additional parts are not needed.
The five drawers provide ample storage space, and the teak handles add a touch of sophistication. This chest of drawers is from the mid-20th century and is in excellent condition.
The drawers are narrower to the top graduating to deeper at the bottom. It’s a good piece of solid storage.
One of the last ranges to be designed by Arthur Edwards before he left White and Newton in 1964.
In good restored vintage condition. The drawers run well and the handles are all in tact. Minor signs of age and use are present. Please see the photos – happy to answer any questions.
