Rare Vintage G-Plan Tola & Black Coffee Table with Hidden Drawers by E. Gomme, High Wycombe | circa 1955-1962. listed as a Sofa Table (8002) and part of the rarely seen ‘Lotus Range’.
A rare and highly practical early G-Plan long-john coffee table, retaining its original E. Gomme gold stamp.
Beautifully crafted in richly figured tola veneers, the table features a striking black faux-marble inset top, elegant tapered legs with brass-capped feet and two concealed drawers.
The combination of warm timber tones, brass detailing and contrasting faux-marble top perfectly captures the sophisticated style of British mid-century design.
A scarce and increasingly collectable model from G-Plan’s formative years.

In good vintage condition with only minor age-related wear. The veneers present beautifully, drawers operate smoothly and both original serving trays are present.
