Fabulous mid century British designer Robert Heritage rosewood ‘Hamilton’ console table or desk produced by Archie Shine and retailed through Harrods, circa 1969, the rectangular top over two reeded front drawers with circular wooden drawer pulls raised on tall tapering legs united by ‘H’ stretcher, wonderful design perfect as a console, desk or vanity unit.

A multi functional piece of furniture originally designed as a vanity table but works perfectly as a console table or desk with 2 spacious drawers that have the original small wooden peg handle pulls sitting in eye shaped detailing. Drawers are dovetailed and run nicely as one would expect. Expertly crafted reeded drawer fronts which are a feature of the Hamilton Range. Elegant and slender frame which is sturdy and has no wobbles but obvious signs of historic repair.

Gently cleaned the item has been lightly polished ready for use. This is a lovely piece of furniture that would sit perfectly in any home. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
