This sideboard was designed by Erik Wørts for the Swedish Ikea factory in the 1960s, part of the Ladoga range.

The sideboard is made of teak veneer and has uniquely profiled handles.It has three drawers in the middle, top drawer felt lined and two sliding doors, one with an internal shelf. 

In good vintage unrestored condition. We have given this sideboard a good clean and replaced the felt lining in the top drawer. Signs of age and previous use still present. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.

Erik Wørts (1916 – 1997) is a distinguished Danish architect and furniture designer from the mid-20th century. Wørts won several high-profile design awards and is also recognised for his pioneering contribution to flatpack furniture.
