Vintage 1960s Teak Drinks Cabinet & Bureau by Robert Heritage for Beaver Tapley SOLD
This stylish matching pair of teak units were designed by Robert Heritage for English furniture maker Beaver and Tapley as part of their ’Multi Width’ range.
This compact writing bureau/desk in teak is ideal for small spaces, it’s drop down front panel becomes a desk top (perfect for laptop) with internal pigeon holes & shelf. The base cupboard has sliding doors with brass coloured metal handles.
The drinks cabinet has a slim profile making it perfect for smaller spaces. The lockable main cabinet space is revealed by a drop down panel which is formica backed to create a flat working/preparation surface and revealing a mirror backed storage space. Below is a further storage space behind sliding doors.
Both the units sit on distinctive solid teak legs.
The drinks cabinet is wired for an internal light (plug removed for sale). Unfortunately we no longer have the key.
Both are in good vintage condition. There are some marks and scuffs as to be expected on an item of this age. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
Price is for the pair of units; will separate if required (£265) but would prefer not to as been together since new!!
