Vintage 1960s Windsor Blonde Ercol Elm & Beech Drop Leaf Dining Table SOLD
A classic Ercol Windsor 384 Drop-leaf Table from the 1965 Catalogue range – Blue Label.
A beautiful, fully restored Ercol oval Drop-leaf dining table from the Windsor Collection, manufactured between 1957 – 1978. The table seats six people when fully opened. It is especially useful for smaller rooms, as it seats two comfortably when folded.
The rounded oval top, with two drop leaves is made from Solid English Elm. The drop leaves are supported by metal rods. The contrasting base and straight legs are made from Beech.
The table top displays a striking grain pattern, with a light golden brown colour akin to the original Ercol ‘Light’ shade. The table top has been sanded back to the original timber, sealed and finished with two coats of Feddes Wood Finishes. The legs and table base have also been sanded and finished with two coats of Feddes to match the table top.
