A classic and iconic ‘Forum’ two-seater sofa designed by Robin Day for Hille. It was originally designed in 1964 and later licensed and manufactured by Habitat in the 1990s.
The soft and supple dark brown leather has a lovely aged patina which makes it extremely comfortable. The sofa is surrounded on three sides by two solid Ash planks supported on feature square chromed-steel legs. The sofa is well built, comfortable and quite compact. In total there are six dark brown upholstered leather with fabric-back sections. There is also a cleverly designed large fabric-covered support cushion that can’t be seen when the cushions are all in place.
In good vintage condition. The previous owners had from new. It does however show minimal signs of cosmetic wear. Some marks and wear to the leather but overall good for its age. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
