Inspired by the Tulip Table by designer Eero Saarinen, the Arkana dining set was produced by British furniture manufacturer Arkana in the 1960s/70s and has become a design classic.

An original Arkana ‘Tulip’ dining suite by Maurice Burke consisting of a round dining table and four swivel chairs.

The design of the set features a white fibreglass and plastic moulded circular top table with a single pedestal base. It is completed by four original swivel chairs with metallic bases coated in white plastic and fibreglass seat shells.

This suite is perfect as a space saver as originally intended and a design classic of the era. Not only strikingly elegant but the pedal design of the table leaves no legs to get in the way once everyone is seated!

The table and chairs are in sturdy and solid, cleaned ready for a new home. Upholstered cushioned seat in black vinyl. Some inevitable wear from use over the years to the bases but this is fairly minimal and all in very good condition for a practical piece of furniture nearly 50 years old.
